Chapter 10
Tournament of Bands Chapter X serves northern and central New Jersey
as well as southeastern New York including
NJ counties of Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex,
Monmouth, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex & Union.
New York counties of Bronx, Kings, Suffolk, Nassau, Queens &
Westchester
All bands, colorguards, and percussion ensembles,
regardless of size and location, are welcome to perform at TOB Chapter
X shows. TOB is focused on providing a positive and educational
experience for all performing units. We can meet the needs of all
performing units by providing separate adjudication for Open, Clinic,
Novice, and Non-Member classes. If your unit wishes to perform at
a Chapter X show, please contact the show coordinator or Chapter
Coordinator Ray Troxell for information.

Brick Memorial & Governor Livingston Bring Home 2008 Atlantic Coast Championships!
At the 36th annual Tournament of Bands Atlantic Coast Championships, on November 15th and 16th, at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, PA, Chapter 10 bands excelled throughout the weekend
Brick Memorial HS excelled in a driving rainstorm and won their first Atlantic Coast Championship in Group 2 in one of the strongest fields ever with a score of 97.45, taking awards for high music, high visual and high woodwinds.
Governor Livingston HS won an amazing 11th Atlantic Coast Championship in the school's 30th championship appearance in Group 1 in a thrilling competition with a score of 96.25, taking awards for high music and high auxiliary on a cold November night.
Other Chapter 10 bands also succeeded with excellent performances at the Atlantic Coast Championships and Invitationals.
Matawan HS did a fabulous job dodging the rain in the Group 2 Invitational
Red Bank Catholic HS finished with a school best finish in Group 1 Championship
Roselle Park HS, in their first championship performance, finished in 13th place in the Group 1 Championship
Ramsey HS had a wonderful performance in a driving rainstorm in the Group 4 Championship
Raritan HS took 3rd place in the Group 1 Invitational taking awards for high percussion and high auxiliary
West Essex HS finished a strong 8th place in the Group 3 Championship and took the award for high woodwinds.
We hope to see everybody back, and some great new members, for the 2009 Marching Band Season!
